CHAOS Labs is the experimental research environment of Stratic Systems.
Work conducted here reflects R&D using patent-pending concepts.

What Chaos Labs Is

CHAOS Labs explores the science of operational continuity under uncertainty, including:

  • environmental and field sensing
  • austere and rural infrastructure challenges
  • edge autonomy and constrained decision-making
  • resilient coordination in disrupted environments
  • offline and contested-network behavior
  • synthetic failure and degraded telemetry
  • continuity of sensing, control, and awareness
     

The goal is not speed to market, but rigorous validation before responsible deployment.

Core Research Tracks

MDRV — Multi-Domain Resilience Verification

  •  Status: Research Prototype (Patent Filed)


Evaluates distributed systems under controlled failure conditions including:
connectivity loss, degraded telemetry, contested networks, and cloud unavailability.


Produces implementation-agnostic resilience insights across cyber, terrestrial, and orbital pathways. 

DAOCS — Distributed Autonomous Operational Continuity System

  •  Status: Research Prototype (Patent Filed)


A continuity architecture composed of:

  • SERA — autonomy engine for bounded decision-making
  • RION — resilient communication layer for fragmented networks
  • SCOPE — local continuity-state environment
     

Designed for environments where centralized control cannot be guaranteed.

MEMAS — Modular Environmental Monitoring & Automation System

  • Status: Research Prototype (Patent Filed)


Composed of:

  • DART — rugged field hub with power and autonomy
  • PODS — modular sensor/power/data blocks
  • CAPS — configurable cartridges for sensing or compute expansion
     

Tailored for unpredictable, high-uncertainty field conditions.

Government & National Security Relevance

CHAOS Labs exists to break systems on purpose so they can endure

CHAOS Labs conducts applied research aligned with missions requiring:

  • autonomy under degraded or denied conditions
  • resilient operations without reliable cloud connectivity
  • continuity of sensing and control across multiple domains
  • decision-making with incomplete or intermittent telemetry
  • low-SWaP edge processing in austere environments
  • environmental and infrastructure resilience for mission continuity
     

Research supports future applicability to mission spaces such as emergency response, critical infrastructure, and defense environments.
No field deployment or system delivery is implied.
