I'm Jeffery Wheat, the founder of Point North Studio LLC.
My journey into residential design didn’t follow the traditional path — but it’s one built on passion, persistence, and years of hands-on experience.
I started learning Residential Design at just 13 years old. While others were playing games, I was designing homes, reading the building code front to back, and studying how structures came together. What began as a childhood fascination became a lifelong calling.
With a background rooted in both design and hands-on construction, I approach each project with a deep respect for how drawings translate into the real world. I’ve worked on remodels, additions, custom homes, and structural steel systems, always guided by the same values: clarity, buildability, and thoughtful design that works for the people who live in it.
The name Point North represents a mindset:
